Common Diagnostics Platform Helps PC Giant in Servicing Personal Computers

Under the new license agreement, Gateway will use PC-Doctor® Factory for Windows and DOS software to test remanufactured and refurbished computers, as well as test field service parts before they leave the service center. The agreement covers Gateways service provider partners. Financial terms of the contract were not disclosed.
PC-Doctor Factory for Windows and DOS is an extension of the companys modular core technology that provides common diagnostics throughout the PC lifecycle – from product development, to manufacturing, to service and support. Used in factory and service center settings, the software reduces out-of-box failures and no-trouble-found warranty returns.
