Author Releases 3 Books in 100 Days

It's not enough for poet and author William F. DeVault to have been christened the "Romantic Poet of the Internet" in 1996, or to be considered one of the leading figures of the Digital Renaissance. Now he's releasing 3 new books in 100 days, including the first authorized in-print edition of his legendary "Panther Cycles".

(PRWEB) April 20, 2005 -- For this West Virginia-raised, maverick literary figure, boundaries exist to be crossed, frontiers to be found, then conquered. So now he's releasing three books in a 100-day span, capping that accomplishment with the release of "The Compleat Panther Cycles" on July 18th, 2005, the 10th anniversary of the writing of the first of these more than 600 poems that narrate the highly dysfunctional, definitely romantic and erotic affair that destroyed his first marriage.

Having this novel-length coffee-table book at the end of the run should be sufficient, but he has kicked off this publishing marathon with "INVOCATO" (ISBN#1-4116-2931-0), initially only available through www.lulu.com but available in a few weeks through all major bookstores, his long awaited collection of his "greatest hits", his works that have achieved the greatest fan and critical recognition. Jumping out his long-term relationship with POD giant iUniverse, he has once again moved, as he did with the inception of his first website nine years ago, to seek to democratize the creative process, an element he considers essential to the flourishing of the digital renaissance.

Then, in June of this year, he follows "INVOCATO" with "The Morgantown Suite", a collection of works celebrating Morgantown, West Virginia, where he came of age before leaving to seek his fortunes in the high tech consulting arenas of Washington, DC, and the legendary arts community of Venice Beach, California. The poet has signed away the royalties from this book to Arts Monongahela, a local arts advocacy group.

So now he has an award-winning website at www.cityoflegends.com as well as three new books coming out (raising his total published volumes to eight, but still only a fraction of his reputed catalog of over 10,000 poems), and a reputation as an international literary figure, threatening to redefine his art and market with his guerilla marketing and earnest works of passion and spirituality. What next?

"I don't know," replies the poet, with a knowing smile, "but I'm ready for it and excited to embrace it."
