LiveWell New York is a consumer event focused on healthy lifestyles featuring authoritities in the areas of Fitness, Nutrition and Wellness. The expo runs from 10AM to 5PM on Saturday, April 23rd, and from 10AM to 4PM on Sunday, April 24th. The event is open to the public and promises to be one of the premier fitness and wellness expos. Keynote speakers include Deepak Chopra, Dr. Nicholas Perricone, Carol Alt, Jorge Cruise, Gunnar Peterson and Jamie-Lynn DiScala.

PowerCentering blends body awareness, breathing, posture, balance and centered movement into an exercise routine that's simple and fun to do," says Dr. Gratale. PowerCentering takes human performance and wellness to a new level with a revolutionary, unique combination of the best core-strengthening principles and ancient movement techniques."

The doctor-developed exercise routine can be done in as little as 10 minutes or as long as 60 minutes. Practicing PowerCentering helps people perform better at anything they do in life while achieving greater health, fitness and vitality," Dr. Gratale says.

Dr. Gratale explains that anyone can do the exercises; it is appropriate for professional and elite athletes to individuals who haven't exercised in 30 years. I've even taught people in wheelchairs the PowerCentering Experience," he said.

Benefits of PowerCentering include improved core strength and flexibility, an easing of stress and tension, relief from aches and pain, enhanced posture and improved energy, says Dr. Gratale.

PowerCentering is based on an awareness and utilization of the human body's center of mass, an inch or two below the navel inside the lower abdomen, according to Dr. Gratale. This physical center of gravity of the human structure is also the symbolic center of being and power, which makes PowerCentering so transforming, he said.

Dr. Gratale is a human performance specialist and certified strength and conditioning specialist, committed to empowering people of all ages to achieve their highest inborn potential for optimal health and quality of life. His philosophy of natural healing, wellness development and peak performance is transforming the lives of people through his revolutionary program, PowerCentering.

He holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Upsala College and a Doctor of Chiropractic degree from New York Chiropractic College.

Dr. Pete will also be conducting workshops on PowerCentering in Boston June 10th and 11th. The next Certification for PowerCentering Trainers is May 21st.
