Santa Barbara Contemporary Arts Forum (SBCAF) launches 2nd annual Million Dollar Home or Million Dollars Cash Rafle. Over 190 cash prizes in addition to the Grand Prize of a Santa Barbara home or a Million Dollars. SBCAF raised $2.7 million with their first home raffle in 2004, will they do the same in 2005?

Santa Barbara, CA (PRWEB) April 24, 2005 -- The dream of owning a home in Santa Barbara or winning $1 million in cash is alive once again in the 2005 2nd Annual Santa Barbara Million Dollar Home or Million Dollar Cash Raffle. The Grand Prize Winner will make the difficult decision between the home and the $1 million soon after the 18,000, $150 tickets, are sold.

In addition to the Grand Prize, over 190 cash prizes will be awarded to lucky ticket holders in a series of drawings with cash prizes from $300 up to $25,000. Winners of the two Early Bird drawings that lead up to the Grand Prize drawing scheduled for Saturday, July 30, 2005, will automatically have their tickets re-entered for the final Grand Prize drawing. Those who enter early will have multiple chances to win and an opportunity to win $50,000 in additional cash prizes.

Our raffle was so successful last year that we could not find any reason not to repeat it" said Danny Scott, Board Member of the Santa Barbara Contemporary Arts Forum. Once again we will reward those who buy tickets early with multiple chances to win. Those who buy a ticket before the close of business on May 10, 2005, will be entered into 3 separate drawings to win cash prizes in addition to the Grand Prize drawing. We anticipate selling out even earlier than we did last year, so dont delay."

The Santa Barbara home, built in 2002, enjoys ocean and mountain views, features a living room with fireplace and vaulted ceilings, spacious eat-in kitchen, 3 bedrooms, 2 baths and a private patio for outdoor entertaining. If the Grand Prize Winner selects the home they will also receive a $25,000 gift certificate that is redeemable at Santa Barbaras Paseo Nuevo Shopping Center for furnishing and home decor. The gift certificate plus the home have an estimated valued of $1 million.

SBCAF Board member Danny Scott commented, were working to make fundraising a performance art. As required, weve registered our event with the Attorney Generals office of California, and are delighted that we will once again create a millionaire or a new Santa Barbara homeowner at the final Grand Prize Drawing."

The raffle benefits the Santa Barbara Contemporary Arts Forum, a non-profit organization that provides educational opportunities and is a popular venue for prominent and emerging artists since1976.

The $150 tickets go on sale at 9 am on Wednesday, April 20, 2005, and are for sale to any California resident, 18 years or older.
