Now You Know If Itz Mine - New Reusable Tags Quickly Identify Personal Drink Containers - Helps Prevent the Spread of Germs

A new way to reduce the chances of getting germs from mistakenly drinking out of someone elses water, juice or sports bottle has just hit the market. A new product, called Itz Mine! Beverage ID Tags, are individualized tags that are easily placed on the neck of favorite water, soda or sports drink bottles to identify the drink to help ensure that users do not receive bacteria and viruses by erroneously drinking out of someone elses bottle, or from someone else accidentally drinking out of their bottle.

(PRWEB) April 1, 2005 -- In addition to washing your hands frequently, not drinking from other peoples drink containers is perhaps the best way to prevent the spread of germs from person to person," says Toni Ann Claire, M.D., a physician from East Rockaway, New York. Bottled drinks are breeding grounds for all types of harmful bacteria, and just a few sips of someone elses beverage are enough to spread germs and disease."

Taking care to identify your own beverage bottle is especially important in situations where many people may have beverage bottles, such as the gym or fitness center, at sporting events, at meetings or in the school dorm. And it is important when more than one person stores their beverage bottles in a refrigerator, such as at the office or day care and child care centers. Itz Mine! Beverage ID tags fit most brands of water bottles, soda bottles, beer bottles, and wide mouth sports drink bottles—it even fits baby bottles.

Itz Mine! Founder Lisa Moschitta said, I realized that I was throwing away my water bottle every day at the gym because I couldnt identify my own, and I was aghast at the thought of drinking out of a strangers beverage bottle. It can really be a problem for those with food allergies who may become very ill. I designed Itz Mine! Beverage ID Tags to make it easier for adults, parents and kids to keep track of their own bottles when they are at the gym, at school, public events, the office, day care, or anywhere you would carry a bottle."

The reusable tags are brightly colored and designed to reflect various kid themes, and include a Property Of" space to write a name. Made of durable materials for multiple uses, the tags come in packages of either 3 ˝" size for most bottles or 4 ˝" for wide mouth bottles. The Tough Guy" Pak of 21 tags in 7 sports designs is $21.95; the Chic-Chick" Pak of 15 tags in 5 designs of animals and flowers is $15.95; the Groovy Girl" Pak of 9 tags with three designs if $9.95; and the Animal Lovers" Pak of 6 in two designs if $6.95. The Funky Family" Pak of 36 ID tags includes all 12 designs for $36.95. Individual packages of 3 are $5.
