Horror Flick ‘After Sundown Sets Texas-Size Premiere at Billy Bobs Texas - Fort Worth Hosts Vampire and Zombie Bash

After Sundown Film Partners of Dallas/Fort Worth will premiere the locally produced independent horror film, After Sundown," at the world famous Billy Bobs Texas in Fort Worth – the worlds largest honky-tonk at 7 p.m., June 7, 2005. Dallas, TX (PRWEB) May 4, 2005 -- After Sundown Film Partners of Dallas/Fort Worth has secured the world famous Billy Bobs Texas in Fort Worth – the worlds largest honky-tonk – for the premiere of its locally produced independent horror film, After Sundown."

Associated production companies, Windblown Films of Fort Worth (www.windblownfilms.com) and ThinkTank Entertainment of Dallas (www.thinktankenter.com) are underwriting the first public screening of the film at Billy Bobs at 7 p.m., June 7, 2005. General admission is free for those having an official ticket, downloadable at www.aftersundownmovie.com/premiere) Seating will be on a first-come-first-served basis. The cast and crew of the 90-minute film will be on-hand for socializing and questions.

Billy Bobs Texas is located in the historic Fort Worth Stockyards at 2520 Rodeo Plaza, Fort Worth. The ticket, when presented at Billy Bobs, will give the patron free entry into the honky-tonk and 25% of some food items.

Principle photography for this North Texas grown," direct-to-video horror independent flick began in late November at locations throughout the Metroplex, including Billy Bobs and the Beaumont Ranch in Grandview, Texas. The remarkably detailed western gothic mixes modern-day vampires and zombies with American Old West characters in pitched battles featuring viewer-startling special effects.

Starring in the digital gorefest are Susana Gibb, Reece Rios, Natali Jones, J. Christopher, Michael W. Brown, Jamie Amaral and Joey Galt. Horror fans also will see special guest star and Texarkana native Jake Billingsley, now a McKinney, Texas businessman, who was one of the most popular participants in CBS Televisions reality series, Survivor Thailand." Christopher Abram is an Executive Producer, the writer and one of the two team Directors of After Sundown." Abram is known best as Executive Producer, Writer and Director for The Fanglys," (The Asylum Distribution, Los Angeles) a micro-budgeted horror flick that has done very well – selling an estimated 20,000 units nationwide – in its current home video release. The accomplished actor and voice-over talent, a graduate of KD Studios degree program, is listed on the Internet Movie Data Base (www.imdb.com).

We wanted to make a movie that was not just a throw-away, as so many other films in this genre tend to be," Abram emphasized.

The movies other team Director, Tarrant County native Michael W. Brown, a regionally prominent, award-winning theatre director, said, This film is a serious effort to improve the micro-budgeted horror movie genre."

The home-grown aspect of After Sundown" extends to Keith Randal Duncan (www.imdb.com), the movies Producer and also an Executive Producer, who is a Dallas native and 20-year veteran of film, video, theater and the amusement industries. He is a member of the Dallas Producers Association and the Texas Association of Film & Tape Professionals. Previous films to his credit include Ramming Speed," Dark Dealer" and Something of Mine."

The producers describe the films eye-popping plot as an action-packed story of a young woman who uncovers a dark secret, detailed in a diary found as an old cemetery is relocated to make way for a new subdivision.

She is plunged into a gory battle with a predatory vampire from the Old West who has the power to create undead zombie slaves that assist him on his search for his vampire offspring. With the help of Texas locals, our heroine ends the growing threat in a wild clash of vampires and zombies, sending the creatures straight to Hell!" Abram said.

The premiere will be a fun, informal event. Following the screening – and the screaming - review cards will be available to attendees desiring to share their opinion of the film.
