Art & Pajamas?

What do wearing pajamas and enjoying good art have to do with each other? A new art gallery in Santa Fe, New Mexico shows us the connection.

Santa Fe, NM (PRWEB) May 6, 2005 -- ZINO contemporarys premiere art show, in Santa Fe, New Mexico, is certain to fill the house with good art, pajamas and people. PJs, bed slippers, toast and iced coffee are on the menu for this opening hosted by Santa Fes newest contemporary gallery. Everyone attending ZINOs opening is being asked to don their very best bed attire.

The pajamas / home art show called Location! Location! Location!" will open 5-9pm, Saturday, May 28, 2005 at ZINO contemporarys new location on 203 East Palace Avenue.

We want to have fun with this show", said ZINO contemporarys director, Lys Anzia. I think almost everyone in America wears pajamas at home. To really enjoy art youve got to be in your pajamas. Thats why were inviting everyone to wear their best bed attire to the gallery. We all know the only time you can really sit still, relax, and enjoy art is when your in your PJs".

Location! Location! Location!" is hosting two talented artists, J. Kelley Tait from Santa Fe, New Mexico and Bonnie Capaul from Boulder, Colorado. Using the intensity of design, Tait will be presenting large and small color based abstracts based on the ideas of home and remembering. Capaul will be showing her mixed media house constructions built from wood, metal, canvas and other materials.

The works in the show have been skillfully created to play off each other", says Anzia.

My constructions are reflections on home. I believe homes are visited by the spirits of those who have lived there before. The addition of ladders in my pieces are ways for these spirits to come and go", says Capaul.

I want this show to express all the varied environments we surround ourselves with", added Tait.

The combination of these two artists should be quiet exciting", says Anzia. For the opening were expecting a full pajama clad house, really, no pun intended".
