SecureUSA Battles Terrorism with New Crash Rated Street Furniture Solution

SecureUSA, Inc. a provider of perimeter security consulting, engineering, and integration announced its new line of Crash Rated Street Furniture.

Cumming, GA (PRWEB) May 9, 2005 -- SecureUSA introduced a new line of crash rated street furniture to battle terrorism and aggressors in a less obtrusive manner. The SU-BX400 Series Solutions utilizes otherwise ordinary park benches, picnic tables, and bike racks to create a crash rated barricade system.

The SU-BX400 Series Solution was developed in an effort to provide an intrusion and perimeter protection solution that does not inhibit the facility or give off the appearance of a potential terrorist target. In lieu of ugly barricades, bulky planters, and bollards, the SU-BX400 street furniture provides a calm and normal streetscape with the protection needed while also maintaining comfortable and easy pedestrian access. Ilan Lindenboim, Director of Engineering, commented, The SU-BX400 Series is a way to protect your facility without making our streets look like a war zone. The BX400 Series allows the customer to keep a normal looking streetscape as it would have been before 9/11, and that is our goal - to provide a solution that doesnt inhibit the facility or pedestrians and keeps our streets looking safe and free." The new street furniture can be integrated into sidewalks, entry points, and pedestrian areas to create a protected perimeter without the average person even noticing. The SU-BX400 Series, accompanied by other landscape options, can create aesthetically pleasing landscape that will meet the needs of both the security director and facility manager. This solution has been implemented at an undisclosed location in Charlotte, NC.
