Nine Managed Properties in South Carolina earn National Community of Quality Certification
Orangeburg, SC (PRWEB) May 11, 2005 -- The National Affordable Housing Management Association (NAHMA) announced that N & H Enterprises, Inc., recently received national recognition as a Community of Quality for outstanding management of nine properties located throughout South Carolina. In the lowcountry, Amelia Village Elderly Housing, sponsored by the Orangeburg County Council on Aging and Jamison Village Elderly Housing, both located in Orangeburg and Wisteria Way in Manning were among the honored properties.
As manager of Nationally Recognized Communities of Quality (COQ), NAHMA acknowledged that N & H Enterprises, Inc. provides the highest-quality affordable housing to lower-income residents while adding value to its larger community. Each of N & Hs COQ certified properties met NAHMAs high standard of excellence in maintenance and management practices, the services they provide residents, and the experience and training of personnel. They scored high on inspection of its physical plant and on the quality of management reviews, audits, and replacement reserves.
Additional properties that received the Community of Quality designation include Baptist Village Apartments in Anderson, American Legion Seniors Apartments in Easley, 62 Plaza Apartments of Central, and Lakeside Apartments in Columbia. In Aiken, both Croft House Inc. and The Windham House Apartments were honored.
