(PRWEB) May 11, 2005 -- A financial planner in the fast-growing Dallas suburb of Frisco is redefining how consumers get help with their investments and personal finances.

Most financial firms either target the ultra-wealthy or they make their living selling financial products. Frisco Financial Planning brings objective, fee-only advice within reach of people from all walks of life," says the companys principal, John Gay.

Fee-only means the firm receives no commissions or product-based compensation; its sole source of revenue comes directly from its clients. An initial get acquainted" meeting is offered at no cost or obligation to all prospective clients. A firm fee is quoted before any work is begun.

After the initial meeting were able to quote a firm fee for the proposed analysis and recommendations. At that point, the person is able to engage us or say ‘no thank you; there are no surprises," says Gay.
