ROW is an effort to realize money for the widows of our soldiers killed in Iraq that have lost their houses because they could not keep the mortgages up.

(PRWEB) May 20, 2005 -- Maureen O'Sulllivan Weeks has written a historical novel called Bye For Now. It is set in New England. If she sells more than a million copies she plans on donating the proceeds to the women whom have lost their husbands and cannot keep their homes, because the money that they receive from the military is insufficient. Just a few short months ago we lost over 27 soldiers. She was alerted to these women's plight from an article that she read in People Magazine.

Briefly it is a historical fiction that conveys universal truths, and describes a family that had been uprooted many years ago and then reunited by one event. A house was demolished on the shore in Boston in the sixties. Workers found millions of dollars of colonial gold Double Eagle coins! When they researched the archives they learned that the man that built the house told his family on his death bed that his fortune was hidden in the house. They looked everywhere and could not find it! It was hidden in the mahogany staircase. Bye For Now is about that family and how they were scattered and not with anger or rejection, but remained connected by the only thread that there is the seamless gossamer of faith and spirituality. It was always Bye For now, as they knew that someday they would be reconnected, and they were one hundred and sixty years later a wrecking ball knocked the house down and his descendants reclaimed the wealth only to learn the true meaning of family, and faith. In a day when families are scattered this novel is a reminder of the permanent tie that binds us all for life. As everyone has beginnings from whence they came! The denouement is the little new that each man gets from life is very costly and the only heritage that he has to leave...

Maureen intends to sell gold plastic or silicon bracelets from a web site that is currently being developed. The web developer is going to weave the alliteration of Bye for Now into its message. There will be a link to a military organization called -- "Army Relief". They will handle the fund disbursement. The bracelets will sell for $10.00 a piece. She has to work out how to sell them..i.e. online or through an organized effort.

This is an opportunity to participate in promoting family values.

Please assist in whatever means that you can in helping her to attain the needed visibility to make this a viable effort.

The web site will be up and running within a few short days under the domain name of www.rememberourwidows.com "Remember our Widows".
