Briefly it is a historical fiction that conveys universal truths, and describes a family that had been uprooted many years ago and then reunited by one event. When they researched the archives they learned that the man that built the house told his family on his death bed that his fortune was hidden in the house. They looked everywhere and could not find it! It was hidden in the mahogany staircase. Bye For Now is about that family and how they were scattered and not with anger or rejection, but remained connected by the only thread that there is the seamless gossamer of faith and spirituality. It was always Bye For now, as they knew that someday they would be reconnected, and they were one hundred and sixty years later a wrecking ball knocked the house down and his descendants reclaimed the wealth only to learn the true meaning of family, and faith.
