Training videos are now available for wireless networking technologies from CBT Nuggets. Demand for wireless networks has created a need for certified technicians with the skills to perform site surveys and design and install wireless solutions, as well as manage and troubleshoot existing wireless networks. The videos also cover security on a wireless network.

Eugene, OR (PRWEB) May 24, 2005 -- CBT Nuggets, Inc. announces the availability of training videos for the Certified Wireless Network Administrator (CWNA) certification track. The videos map to the exam objectives for CWNA certification as well as providing useful tips and techniques for real-world application.

CWNA skills compliment those used in wire-based networking and the videos provide comprehensive knowledge that network professionals can use to ensure reliability and security as they implement 802.11 wireless LAN technology. CBT Nuggets, Inc. covers the concepts in a series of short, 20-30 minute video segments or nuggets", so that the material learned can quickly be put to use on the job.

Wireless networking is now an essential skill for network professionals, because users see the mobility and flexibility that it provides, and they want that. The skills a CWNA possesses are becoming increasingly invaluable for an IT professional to have", said Dan Charbonneau, CEO and Founder of CBT Nuggets, Inc.

The videos include detailed instruction on wireless network security standards. Because wireless networks are inherently vulnerable to intrusion, most of the lessons contain useful knowledge on securing your system along the way. There are also specific lessons on wireless security that give in-depth knowledge to keep a wireless network secure.

"Security is one of the biggest concerns for anyone with a wireless network. Our training shows you how easy it is to hack into an encrypted network and how to prevent that from happening to your network", Charbonneau explained.

CBT Nuggets, Inc. products provide comprehensive training for Microsoft®, CompTIA®, Citrix® and Cisco® certification exams. The training is designed to offer technical accuracy in conjunction with real-world analogies to promote understanding for beginners and experts alike.

CBT Nuggets, Inc. is the leader in video-based IT certification training. Based in Eugene, Oregon, the company was founded in 1999 and is committed to providing quality educational training videos to the information technology industry. For more information, visit www.cbtnuggets.com.
