Respected Tony Hawk's Underground (THUG2) online community website, thugxonline.com, will be hosting a $1000, Grand Prize Online PS2 video game tournament during the summer of 2005.
Washington D.C. (PRWEB) May 25, 2005 -- tXo is hosting the "Tourney for the Homies 3!" for Tony Hawk's Underground 2 (THUG2) on Sony's PlayStation 2 (PS2) during the summer of 2005. The grand prize includes a $1,000 gift certificate, a THUG2 PS2 Cover Sheet and Tony Hawk skateboard deck both autographed by Tony Hawk, a line-up of three Activision PS2 games, a Dalek signed & numbered 18"x24" print, t-shirts from DENIED Clothing and a copy of SWINDLE Magazine. Prizes will also be awarded for second and third place finalists as well as for the winner of each of the six preliminary rounds.
Tourney for the Homies 3 (TFTH3) is an eight week online tournament for THUG2 on the PlayStation2 consisting of six preliminary rounds, a semi-final and final round. The tournament matches players against each other in online play with a 144-participant bracket. Game modes played will be Trick Attack, Graffiti and Goal Attack. Sign-ups for the six preliminaries will take place separately on 5/16, 5/30, 6/13, 6/27, 7/11 and 7/25/2005 via thugxonline.com. Prizes are to be provided by co-sponsors DENIED Clothing, SWINDLE Magazine and Dalek.
