As a mother of four children confronts breast cancer treatment, her 7-year old daughter wants to make real her wish of buying a nice gift for her Mom.
Westerville, OH (PRWEB) May 25, 2005 - Luz, a wonderful Christian mother of four children underwent breast cancer surgery in early April 2005, and is currently undergoing aggressive treatment, for metastatic breast cancer, with chemotherapy, followed by radiation.
Isabella Paiewonsky, her oldest daughter, age 7, spoke with her father Louis, Jr. with tears on her eyes. She showed her prized sticker collection to her dad (an eBay PowerSeller) and said: "Daddy, I want you to sell my sticker collection on eBay so I can have a lot of money and buy Mommy a nice gift. I also have this beautiful teddy bear drawing that I especially colored for the special person that buys my sticker collection."
His heart was moved by his daughter's action. She then proceeded to ask him questions: "How much money will I get for my sticker collection?" "When will I have the money?" "When can we go to the store to buy Mommy's gift?"
According to the 7-year old daughter, her sticker collection is her most valuable and treasured belonging and she wants to buy her mother the nicest possible gift because her beloved mother has cancer.
The lot on eBay has had a number of bids, as far away as Australia and it consists of:
1. One double sided page containing the 7-year old's entire sticker collection.
2. One hand colored teddy bear drawing.
3. The daughter's love for her mother, as stated by her.
4. A handwritten thank you note from the 7-year old to the winner of the eBay auction.
