A 30-plus-year insurance veteran, Mr. Bivona has extensive background in both commercial and personal lines field management and home office staff positions. He has a comprehensive background in agency and producer development, and has been instrumental in new product development.
In the newly-created position, Mr. Bivona is responsible for growing revenues and advancing relationships with both new and existing customers. MarketStance develops database products that are purpose-built for insurance company applications. The data include statistics and information on commercial property/casualty exposures, by-line premiums, loss ratios, information on business demographics and market growth. Mr. Bivona most recently served as managing director of sales for the Northeast Region of St. Paul Insurance. Previously he was vice president, select commercial accounts with Travelers Property and Casualty. He also has held management positions with Aetna Casualty & Surety
Mr. Bivona earned his BS degree in Business Administration and an MBA in Management and Industrial Relations from the University of Bridgeport.
