'Living Life' Writer/ Director Jesse Harris Hosts Q&A At Cinemas Palme d'Or in Palm Desert

Audiences invited to meet first-time writer/ director and nineteen-year old filmmaker Jesse Harris following 8 PM screening June 11, 2005.

Los Angeles, CA (PRWEB) June 10, 2005 -- The touching and critically acclaimed family film "Living Life" by first-time writer/ director Jesse Harris opens June 10, 2005 in Palm Desert at Cinemas Palme dOr for an exclusive run and marks the films Southern California debut.

Jesse Harris, the films writer/ director, will host a special Q&A with the audience immediately following the 8:00 PM screening of "Living Life" on Saturday, June 11, 2005 at Cinemas Palme dOr.

FilmMates Entertainment is proud to present "Living Life." The film was written and directed by 19-year-old filmmaker Jesse Harris, a Ballard High School graduate from Seattle, WA and stars Seattle actors Benjamin P. Garman, Dick Arnold, Mara Hansen, Patrick Chu, Kevin Huber, Brynne Garman. Since a young age, filmmaking has been Jesses life passion. By using his college money to finance the film rather then go to film school, Jesse has gained the respect of many for both the quality of his work and his courage to attempt such a large project at such a young age.

"Living Life" tells the heartfelt story of Jason Miller, a normal 17-year old who has a beautiful girlfriend, great friends and his whole life in front of him. Or, so he thought. After enduring weeks of pain in his stomach, he develops serious symptoms and is diagnosed with a rare form of cancer. With the power of magic, love and family, one boy's struggle defines a generation.

FilmMates Entertainment and FilmMates Partners present a Rainyday Pictures Production, "Living Life." Written and directed by Jesse Harris. The director of photography for "Living Life" was Randall Peck. The film was produced by Jesse Harris, Bud Harrington and John Lamar. Executive producers were Kathy Reichgerdt, Frank Harris, Kevin Huber, Jeanette Buerling, Alan Goda and David Potter. "Living Life" is rated PG and has a running time of 88 minutes.
