Premiere arts camp of Orange County California Theater, Arts & Crafts, theater games and an end of session performance for friends and family! Camp is offered to coed children ages 6 – 13. An exciting combination of traditional camp and theater activities with specialized performing arts programming in a fun-filled, non-competitive supportive environment! No experience necessary!
Orange County, CA (PRWEB) June 19, 2005 -- Tracey Abbott DiMiceli is the camp director and founder of Center Stage studio. Tracey has been teaching musical theater for over 8 years and has been camp director at some of the most prestigious summer camps in the country including "Fitness by the Sea" a celebrity hot spot for summer camps in Malibu California!
Each week, campers will learn and rehearse a "Bit of Broadway" with an end of week presentation of their work for family and friends. Our lucky campers will also have the opportunity to take a break from their acting and singing to enjoy some theater games!
The goal of our camp is to provide a supportive non-competitive environment for kids wanting take a journey into the world of acting while enjoying team spirit and confidence building sports programs!
A day at CSS (Center Stage Studio) Camp begins at 9 a.m. There is an 8:30 convenient drop off time for parents needing to get to work where a complimentary continental breakfast is served for kids who are too sleepy to eat but are ready to go by the time they get to camp!
Mornings begin with warm ups and some camp spirit! Next rehearsals either in song/dance or script. Lunch break is at 12:00 every day (kids bring their own cold lunch) After lunch, campers will participate in either arts & crafts or a theater games for prizes. The day will end at 3 p.m. with theater games and rehearsals for our end of week show!
