In his acceptance speech, Baldwin acknowledged the companys strong growth over its 30-year history and the hundreds of associates whose contributions made that achievement possible. Brian continued by thanking his wife for her continued support, noting that Entrepreneurs make very difficult spouses." He also thanked sons Greg and Jeff Baldwin, now the senior managers for Baxa Corporation, for taking on the reins and continuing the companys financial and operational success.
The nine award winners were selected from nearly 100 nominations by a panel of independent judges consisting of area leaders from business, academic and civic organizations. These regional winners are eligible for consideration for the national Entrepreneur Of The Year 2005 awards in Palm Springs, California in November.
