Cartoonist Offers Free Daily Cartoons for Blogs and Websites

Cartoonist Mark Anderson's website, www.andertoons.com, premieres unique daily cartoon add-on for webmasters and bloggers. Cut-and-paste code allows easy integration.

"Laugh and the world laughs with you..." And if independent cartoonist Mark Anderson has his way, the world wide web will be laughing with your blog or website.

Anderson's cartoon website, www.andertoons.com, has recently debuted a unique feature that allows webmasters and bloggers alike to incorporate free daily cartoons into their pages.

"One of the things that really distinguishes this feature from others like it is the presentation," explained Anderson. "Often your graphic-of-the-day type add-ons require a lot of real estate pixel-wise, sometimes necessitating entirely new pages and complicated coding. But my daily cartoon operates as a tasteful thumbnail that can be placed almost anywhere within websites or blogs with some simple cut-and-paste code."

Often incorporated into navigation sidebars, Andertoons' cartoon invites readers to "click to enlarge" the image. A small new window opens and displays the full size cartoon without obscuring or navigating away from the original content. The material is refreshed daily.

Users can also choose what types of cartoons they'd like to present. Topics include business cartoons, family cartoons, animal cartoons and many more, giving subscribers the opportunity to more closely match the cartoons' humor to their own subject matter.

"I think bloggers especially will enjoy this," continued the cartoonist. "One of the things I enjoy most about my own blog (www.andertoonsblog.com) is the personal creative expression it gives me. I think humor is something that people inherently want to share, and what better way than with a cartoon."

People interested in implementing the free daily cartoon add-on can get information and sign up at www.andertoons.com/free_toons.php. The requisite code is sent to users within 24 hours.
