G3 Worldwide (US) Inc., the American unit of the global direct mail firm known as Spring, is consolidating its U.S. headquarters and distribution operations in Melville, NY. The deal was arranged by the commercial real estate services firm Paragon Partners LLC
SYOSSET, NY (PRWEB) July 3, 2005 -- Spring, the worlds largest independent provider of international direct mail services, signed a sublease for a 44,000-square-foot industrial building in Melville in a deal arranged by Syosset, NY-based Paragon Group LLC.
G3 Worldwide (US) Inc., which trades under the brand name Spring.
is consolidating its U.S. headquarters, currently located in Melville, and its distribution operations, currently in Jericho, into one facility at 20 Melville Park Rd., which it has subleased from Henlopen Manufacturing Co. Inc. Rechler Equity B-3 LLC, which owns the building, approved the sublease and is performing interior reconstruction. Spring expects to begin operations at the new location on July 25.
Were basically bringing our warehouse operations and our headquarters operations together under one roof," said Spring General Counsel Frank Aiello. We see that as enhancing communications among employees, streamlining our operation and reducing costs and helping us achieve our vision of being recognized as the most reliable partner in the provision of global mail solutions." Approximately 70 employees will be located at the new facility.
Spring is a global joint venture in cross-border mail that was formed in 2001 by TNT N.V. of the Netherlands (the Dutch post office), Royal Mail Group Plc of Great Britain (the British post office) and Singapore Post. In the U.S., Spring handles mailings of such things as catalogs, magazines, newsletters and other corporate mail pieces overseas for U.S. companies.
The company previously leased 12,000 square feet of offices for its headquarters at 225 Broadhollow Road, Melville, NY, and also operated a 20,000-square-foot, leased distribution facility at 200 Robbins Lane, Jericho, NY.
Aiello said the new Melville site is unusual in that it contained significant office space along with room for Springs distribution operations. We were pretty fortunate in finding that space as quickly as we did," Aiello said.
The site was found after a three-month search, said Paragons Jerry Guerra, who, along with the firms Gerald Widen, represented Spring. That kind of building is very unusual." Henlopen was represented by Ashlind Realty.
