New license trade-up offer gives enterprise architects a no risk" opportunity to acquire a Metis license that provides more powerful relationship capabilities analysis, dynamic matrix generation of related objects, and point and click changes to EA metamodels

Austin, TX (PRWEB) July 5, 2005 — Troux Technologies, the global leader in IT Governance and Enterprise Architecture (EA) solutions, today announced the ‘Trade-Up to Troux Program, an exclusive license extension offer for users of Popkin Software, which was acquired by Telelogic of Sweden in April 2005.

Customers need not discontinue use of their Popkin modeling products in order to take advantage of this cost-saving opportunity to extend their Enterprise Architecture and business transformation capabilities. To participate, Popkin users need only show proof of a Popkin System Architect (PSA) software purchase within the last 48 months.

said Pat Motola, president of Troux Technologies. With the ‘Trade-Up to Troux Program, enterprise architects can up-level investments they have already made in EA modeling tools to include dynamic matrix generation of related objects, and make point and click changes to EA metamodels, among other things.
For every PSA proof of purchase, Troux will give an unprecedented $5,000 credit up to a total value of $25,000 per organization. This credit can be used for licenses of Metis by Troux , training or maintenance, or any combination of these products and support options. The offer expires September 30, 2005.

Enterprise architects striving to ensure resource and mission alignment need a solution that provides dynamic views of their models, and applies financial data and weighted values to the importance of processes," said Pat Motola, president of Troux Technologies.
