Leading antispyware company names Carol Montgomery-Adams to vice president, channel and business development

Montgomery-Adams will provide strategic direction for the companys escalating growth, further developing and expanding North American sales channels and managing the companys business development.
Montgomery-Adams brings more than 20 years of senior management experience to Sunbelt, having overseen global marketing and channel development functions at a number of multi-million dollar companies in Silicon Valley. She brings a proven track record of successfully launching new business development and channel programs while developing strategic VAR revenue relationships and building a strong network of channel partners.

Montgomery-Adams was most recently Vice President of Worldwide Marketing at NetManage, rebuilding the marketing organization to support new business strategies by driving product strategy and positioning for the NetManage services" platform. Montgomery-Adams also served as senior Marketing consultant for 3SixtyMarketView, providing strategic marketing consulting, organization structural requirements, implementation plans and programmatic support to both consumer and technology-based businesses.
Montgomery-Adams spent four years at AOL/Netscape as the vice president of Marketing and later, as the vice president of Product Marketing where she defined, drove and launched the iPlanet e-commerce platform product strategy. Montgomery-Adams also spent over ten years at Sun Microsystems, holding key management positions in areas such as product management, market development, channel and developer marketing. While at Sun, she was key in the development and launch of the first global Java Partner Alliance and the industry-first JavaOne Developers Conference.
