Los Angeles, CA & New York, NY (PRWEB) July 23, 2005 -- Is Hollywood coming to Canada? Should Canadian actors move to Los Angeles or New York? Awareness of the talent pool in Canada is invaluable to me as many of the shows I work on shoot in Canada," says Weber, who currently casts Dead Like Me," Stargate Atlantis," Stargate SG-1," Jeremiah," PSI Factor," FX: The Series," Poltergeist," and Outer limits in Canada. I look forward to meeting more Canadian actors. From my experience, the quality of actors has been on a par with their American counterparts."

While there are many shows and films shot in Canada, many Canadian actors consider moving to Los Angeles or New York to increase their opportunities," states Kaiser. Whether an actor decides to make the move to Hollywood or Broadway or to stay in Canada, the same business managerial and self-marketing skills will apply."
