As a semi-finalist, Genovese and her husband were flown to Hollywood, FL to enjoy a fun filled week at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino. After making a life transformation through the Contest, Genovese decided she was ready to begin anew – starting with renewing her vows.
My husband was a big source of support and encouragement," says Genovese.
At sunset, the couple walked hand in hand to the poolside of the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Hollywood, FL where the couple was greeted by the Justice of the Peace. But Joseph wasnt the only one surprised that night. As her Maid of Honor, stood the women who inspired her weight loss – Anna Nicole Smith.
I used to watch her on T.V. and I saw her bad eating habits and that was me right there," admits Genovese. Then I saw her looking incredible and if it could work for her, it could work for me."
When asked to be Pennys Maid of Honor, without hesitation Anna Nicole jumped at the opportunity. A true romantic at heart, the blonde bombshell couldnt resist champagne toasts, sappy vows, and wedding cake.
Penny and her husband are residents of Rome, NY and have three children: Nicholas, Christopher, and Kylee. She has lost over 70lbs with X32, diet and exercise.
