Burlington, MA (HRMarketer/PRWeb) July 23, 2005 -- Dr. Jac Fitz-Enz, founder of The Saratoga Institute and Dave Duffield, founder of PeopleSoft will headline the keynote speakers at the annual International Association for Human Resource Information Management (IHRIM) Global Forum, Oct. 6-7, in Boston, MA.

Other keynote presenters include Row Henson, PeopleSoft/Oracle, and Al Walker and Towers Perrin, both of whom are long-time IHRIM members and internationally known speakers on the topics of human capital management in a global environment.

The forum is a creation of the IHRIM Global Special Interest Group, which provides the unique opportunity for human resources professionals to gather and learn from one another in participative and collegial environment. The goal of the Forum is to create a learning environment and networking opportunity that facilitates the exchange of information about global human resource (HR) issues.

Topics to be discussed at this year's Forum include: 1) Shared Services, 2) HR Outsourcing, 3) Metrics, 4) Privacy and Security, 5) Workforce Management and 6) Global HR Case Studies, which will focus on Implementation, Systems, and Business/IT Processes.

In Dr. Fitz-Enz's presentation, Workforce Intelligence: How to Manage Human Capital in E-world," he will discuss how managing human capital in this explosive environment requires a combination of technology and decision science. This session will describe how this is being applied and outcomes measured especially from a global perspective.

Industry pundits, Dave Duffield and Aneel Bhusri, talk about their vision of HR and its role in the new collaborative, networked environment. How is the next generation of systems evolving from the back office to the front line in order to meet the needs of tomorrow's global business managers? Learn about what you need to do to be prepared and take advantage of the impending paradigm shift.

The session by Al Walker covers the major aspects of HR Technology Alignment, including how technology priorities are set, the budgeting process, our interaction with senior business leaders and their involvement in our work, our HRIT organization structure, competencies of our HRIT staffs, the range and breadth of our HR technology applications, and the content of our systems. A more predictive approach to alignment with a five-level alignment template that will assist in this effort will also be discussed.
