Ramminger will speak at a Breakout Session on August 17 from 4:45 p.m. – 5:30 p.m. Titled "Software Companies Increase Lead Volume and Sales Opportunities — Real Life Stories," Ramminger's session will address the growing challenges of generating leads and exposure for technology products and services via the Internet. Ramminger will also discuss proactive versus reactive approaches to reaching new business-to-business customers.

SLAM 2005 focuses on sales strategies, licensing technologies, partnering, growth opportunities and marketing issues facing executives and managers of software companies. This two-day conference serves C-level executives, vice presidents, directors and product managers of leading software companies, located throughout North America, who are conducting business both domestically and internationally.

Ramminger joined KnowledgeStorm in April 2000, bringing 19 years of business technology experience. His responsibilities include marketing, product strategy and management, Web site architecture, development and operations.

Previous to KnowledgeStorm, Ramminger served as director in IBM's Communications Sector e-business Services Practice where he led a team of Internet consultants, designers and developers working with clients on online strategies and complex Web-driven applications. He was a key founder of IBM's innovative Interactive Media Practice, created in 1994, and led the design and delivery of more than forty large-scale sports and entertainment Web events including the official Web sites for the Masters, GRAMMYs, Wimbledon Championships, U.S. Open, Superbowl and Ryder Cup.

Ramminger is a graduate of the Georgia Institute of Technology and holds a bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering. Ramminger is a member of the Technology Association of Georgia and Search Engine Marketing Professional Organization (SEMPO).
