In this role, Ms. Metcalf will be responsible for the global strategic, tactical, and operational performance of the Clinical Trials Management Department, and have direct responsibility for the Clinical Quality Management (CQM) group.

In this role, Ms. Metcalf will be responsible for the global strategic, tactical, and operational performance of the Clinical Trials Management Department, and have direct responsibility for the Clinical Quality Management (CQM) group. Ms. Metcalf will be located at SCIREXs Horsham, PA, corporate headquarters.
Linda possesses over twenty years of clinical drug development experience in pharmaceutical, biotechnology and contract research organization environments. She has a broad pharmaceutical background in both Research and Development, and Marketing areas, as well as operations and business expertise in developing and implementing both strategic and tactical plans to achieve company and departmental business objectives.
Linda joins SCIREX from prior positions at both Omnicare Clinical Research, Inc., where she served most recently as Senior Vice President, Clinical Operations, Americas, and Covance, Inc. where she was Clinical Operations Director, with direct responsibility for organizational alignment of clinical operations and data management. Prior to her experiences in the CRO Industry, Linda was employed for over twenty years at G. D. Searle and Company in various roles of increasing responsibility in the areas of Research and Development and Clinical/Project Management, with experience in therapeutic areas including Allergy/inflammation, Asthma, Rheumatoid Arthritis, Dermatitis, and Oncology. Linda has also had extensive experience in international drug development, having served in global roles of varying capacity in both pharmaceutical and CRO environments.
Linda obtained her BS degree in Microbiology from the University of Michigan and her MS in Cell Biology from Northwestern University. She has been well published on various topics relating cell biology, and has been a featured speaker at scientific conferences on these subjects.
