Tanner, is unquestionably one of todays hottest breakout actors, he has accomplished in a short time what it takes some actors years to gain. Veteran actress Juanita McKim of film and stage is dynamic, yet, inspirational in her role.
"Star quality" actor Jermelle Thomas, who surpassed his first acting role on film, is featured as the "friend" played by Omar Epps, in Against The Ropes" with Meg Ryan, directed by Charles Dutton. Thomas, a daring but skilled actor has always been around or involved in the performance and fine arts. Shanton V. Bland is best known to Bay Area fans as "Berry Gordy" when he played the lead role in The Motown Story (2002) at Black Repertory Theatre, Berkeley, CA.
