The Who, What and Why of SSR.

(PRWEB) August 3, 2005 -- The History of SSR: In 1989 Chuck White left his position as General Manager of 3 dealerships in the Philadelphia area to return to his hometown of Dallas, Texas. With 20 years in the car business, Chuck recognized the growing need for after market automotive reconditioning. He began his own touch-up business, Magic Auto Touch-Up, Inc.

Chuck spent 12 years in the quest for faster, better and, most importantly, permanent solutions to processes available in the industry. Those 12 years of research and development yielded the results he was looking for and SSR became the complete and final answer to his pursuit of the permanent repair for minor scratches and chips that plague every car owner, to this day. Chuck and his team of technicians became the go to" people in the Dallas-Fort Worth market for superior paint reconditioning, servicing the major dealerships and the retail public.

In April of 2002, Chase Walker met Chuck, through a mutual acquaintance, on the first tee of The Cowboys Golf Course, in Dallas. Three months and several meetings later they became partners. Their goal was to introduce SSR as the effective alternative to traditional touch-ups in the domestic and international marketplace. The first presentation of the SSR System was tremendously well received that year, at the SEMA Show, in Las Vegas. Patents were applied for, web sites were constructed and the network of SSR technicians began to grow as word of this revolutionary process spread across the country.

From SEMA to NACE to the Mobile Tech Show and onto the NADA Show, attendees have been immediately impressed with the quality of repairs performed with the products and process that have gained international recognition as the only patented and proven touch-up method on the market that can produce a permanent repair for the life of the vehicle.

In September of 2004, SSR USA traveled to Sunderland, England, to launch the manufacturing and distribution facilities of SSR Europe with Paul Jobling and Graeme Moan, under the auspices of Car and Bike Magic. The global expansion of SSR had become a reality. SSR Europe was introduced at the Body Shop Live! Trade Show in London, on September 27th, 2004.

In November of 2004, SSR received confirmation of the patent to the products and process that continually amaze customers and dealerships all over the world.

As of June, 2005, there are nearly 200 certified SSR technicians in the United States, Canada, Australia and the United Kingdom. There are 13 State Distributors and multiple dealerships across the USA that have implemented SSR in-house".

SSR USA is committed to the constant improvement of our outstanding products and to expanding the network of Certified Technicians and dealerships.

Welcome to the world of SSR.
