Sought after jingle writer composes the 10th anniversary Million Man March theme song "One In A Million."

(Chicago) (PRWEB) August 15, 2005 -- Chicago-based writer and producer Alan Curtis Green, composer of the 2005 Million Man March theme song "One In A Million," is also the creative mind behind the jingles that aired in Sen. Barack Obamas successful U.S. Senate campaign.

For more than 15 years, Green has been cranking out hit jingles for some of the nation's most high profile political campaigns. Sought after for his ability to craft an infectious melody, Green has a clientele list of former Vice President Al Gore, Illinois Governor Rod Blagojevich and Chicago Mayor Richard M. Daley.

It is a pleasure to create music that makes hits whether it be the election of the first black senator since reconstruction or the potential second largest gathering in the nation's capital," Green says. "I love the challenge that comes with telling a story with music, and making that musical story resonate with people." He experienced a similar challenge after sitting in a unity meeting headed my Minister Louis Farrakhan in December of 2004. As a result of what he saw and heard in that meeting became One In A Million," the 2005 Million Man march song.

"One In A Million," is currently available as a single and will be the title track on the forthcoming compact disc, "One In A Million: Conversations." The innovative CD project is a collection of inspirational songs, woven together with snippets of shade tree/dinner table social commentary from white collar to blue-collar men and women frankly discussing hot button issues.

To hear a sample of "One In A Million" or to purchase the single log on to www.millionsong.com.

Alan Curtis Green is also the creator of "The Kwanzaa Song," and CEO of Urban Jingles.com.
