"Devil in the Mist" introduces protagonist Zack Monstar, an Atlanta detective, who is deeply involved in the investigation of the death of two men. One of the men mysteriously dies from a viral disease. Zack later discovers that the mans death is a result of a diabolical viral warfare conspiracy. With the help of a beautiful heroine, Zack sets out to expose the conspiracy and the men behind it.
If you think some elements of the plot sound vaguely familiar – you are right. Diane loves mystery and suspense novels that are based on historical fact and for this particular novel, locale is everything.
