Audition Now - at The Performer's Academy for Omni Youth Music Awards Orange County, California

Calling all talent - ages 5-21, Singers, Dancers, Musicians, Audition Date - September 19th, 2005 at 2 PM

(PRWEB) September 4, 2005 -- Calling all talent ages 5-21 who wish to audition for Omni Youth Music Awards featuring some of the world's most amazing talented kids.

The 4th Annual Omni Youth Music Award show will be held on January 22, 2006 at the Skirball Cultural Center, Magnin Theatre, Brentwood, California.

Lindsay Kohl, a student at The Performer's Academy took the coveted award at last years show.

"This year they are looking for talented children that can sing, dance or play a musical instrument. They are especially interested in ensemble groups, duos or duets." says Paul Kohl. "This year we are expanding our search into Orange County. There are thousands of talented children, teens, and young adults and this is a wonderful opportunity for them."

To Audition: Call The Performer's Academy for information and audition instructions. It is important for the talent to dress appropriately as their auditions will be taped.

This year celebrity presents will be on hand to hand out awards.

Founder Marlene Dove, made her singing debut at Carnegie Hall, New York at the age of 15. A Coloratura Soprano and Concert Pianist, her mother, world-renowned Lyric Soprano Opera Singer, Bertha Savage, started her in the Arts at an early age.

Produced and directed over seven (7) successful plays, and varioius outreach programs instructing our Youth (as well as Senior Citizens) in Arts. She has been awarded Resolutions from Congress, City & State Proclamations, N.A.R.A.S. (Grammy Award), and Golden Globes (Hollywood Foreign Press) accolades and acknoledgements. Currently, Ms. Dove holds the position of "Music Instructor" for L.A.U.S.D., School Volunteer Program "Beyond The Bell Branch", and is also a Twenty (20) year member of N.A.R.A.S. (Grammy and Latin Grammy Awards).
