Million Man March 10th Anniversary Song Becomes Humanitarian Anthem: One In A Million-After The Storm

Chicago (PRWEB) September 9, 2005 -- In light of the devastation inflicted upon the victims of hurricane Katrina, Chicago composer/ producer Alan Curtis Green creates a second version of the 2005 Million Man March (Millions More Movement) song, "One In A Million," in honor of the lives forever changed.

To help assure that stability is brought to those hit by Katrina, Green has committed to donating proceeds from the purchase of "One In A Million: After The Storm," directly to families identified by local ministers, civic leaders and organizations in the hardest hit areas. Pictures and the stories of each family will be featured on the website www.millionsong.com.

In the vein of humanitarian anthems like "We Are The World," "One In A Million: After The Storm" speaks to the human spirit and brings comfort to Americans who've felt helpless witnessing the worst natural disaster on U.S. soil.

"With the death toll still rising, it will take untold millions of dollars to get back some semblance of life along the nation's Gulf Coast. Most of us will never truly understand what it is like to have your life turned upside down overnight. No place to call your own. To become homeless in a day is unthinkable," says Green. I just want to do all I can to help with the healing.

To hear a sample of "One In A Million: After The Storm" or to purchase the single and help the victims of hurricane Katrina, log on to www.millionsong.com.

Alan Curtis Green is also the creator of "The Kwanzaa Song," and CEO of Urban Jingles.com.
