New Company Offers Keepsake Products, Unique Gifts and Inspirational Tradition Ideas to Simplify and Enrich Family Life

Do you need to mend those family ties? New Company, Once Upon a Family, offers keepsake products, unique gifts, and inspirational tradition ideas to simplify and enrich your family life.

(PRWEB) September 9, 2005 -- Have you ever been so frustrated with a family member that you thought you might do something rash?

"Take their leaf off your family tree," laughed Lisa Lacy, an independent consultant with the new company Once Upon a Family (www.familytraditionideas.com), that can provide you with the Family Tree display you'll need to do just that.

Lacy, who had searched for a company that was unique and would give her the opportunity to work from home, found what she was looking for in Once Upon a Family.

"There has never been a direct sales company quite like it. Our motto is to ‘Change the World, One Family at a Time, and the best place to start is in your own home," said Lacy.

"We provide heirloom-style products and ideas that create, celebrate, and preserve family ties. Many of these are aimed at children and their parents. Im not only learning great tradition ideas and creating keepsakes for my own family and friends, Im helping others do the same," she added.

Starting a family wasnt easy for the couple from Georgia. "We tried for nine years to have a baby, and frankly it was hard for me to be around anything dealing with young children. However, we chose to adopt and brought our son Keaton home from Russia in July, 2003," shared Lacy, who isnt lost on the irony of now being an independent consultant with Once Upon a Family.

The Founder and CEO of Once Upon a Family herself is no stranger to the younger set. A mother of five, Lorle Campos designed childrens clothing for 18 years with her company cachcach.

She came across an article which inspired her to break out into a new venture. "I read an article in a family magazine that talked about what people remember as their ‘favorite childhood memories. I was fascinated because it wasnt what I expected. For years I had been trying to create elaborate ways to celebrate birthdays and holidays, and plan different memorable family vacations. I understood, then, that what we remember most fondly are the simple family events that we repeat over and over again. We remember things like family vacations, a day spent with our grandmother…for me, I remember our time camping," shared Campos.

She created Once Upon a Family to help families see how important family traditions, rituals, and celebrations are in creating the sense of togetherness we all crave, and how easy it is to make these family events meaningful to everyone involved.

This is where consultants like Lisa Lacy come in…bringing the products and ideas to families across the nation.

"Our mission is to help people create a better family life, one that is simple, joyful and meaningful," said Lacy.

"Our unique products, such as the Dates with Dad leather journal, the Dear Sweet Child Letter Box, the innovative 'Lessons for Little Ones,' and the silk Holiday Traditions Books are all designed to help you strengthen your family ties."

You might even find a way to keep those leaves on your Family Tree.
