(PRWEB) September 15, 2005 -- IMPACT 210 has been reporting live from Bryant Park, NYC, front and center at Olympus Fashion Week Spring 2006. Hundreds of the hottest designers in the world are gathering to debut their Spring 2006 collections each day. Log onto www.impact210.com to see new collections by Tomer, Gottex, Michael Wesetly and Rosa Cha.

Tomer Gendler is one of the ten designers selected to participate in UPS Delivers Fashion's Future, and IMPACT 210 was there to view it all. Gendler has been hailed as a menswear designer who intends to change the direction of men's fashion.

Some 300 guests, seated and standing, gathered to view Gendler's Black Rain collection. The color palette this spring is primarily influenced by the morose climate of the world today: yielding cool, somber shades of grey with hints of black, blue and green," Gendler noted. "This afternoon, our journey takes us from night to day as we visit my vision of Tokyo in the not too distant future, with remnants of America in the early 1920s."

Next up, IMPACT 210 checked out Gottex. Designer Gideon Oberson shares his thoughts on his collection: I want to share with you my inspiration for this collection. Todays show will open with bright Caribbean-inspired looks featuring vivid colors and playful ruffles. Sunshine bright yellows will blend into sunset gold as the swimsuits combine glowing metallic and soft pastel hues. Like the Gottex woman, my collection this season uses a color palette that is very feminine, sophisticated and chic. All shades fade to black as the show also offers a dramatic turn from color, reinventing the classic black suit. The finale look is a striking bikini made of pure 18 karat gold with over 5000 pieces of handcrafted mini banana leaves.

After launching successful collections in 2003 in Europe, Asia and South America, Michael Wesetly Clothing makes its stateside debut with its Spring/Summer 2006 CLEAN" collection. IMPACT 210 was very impressed! Michael Wesetly is one of the few African-American global designers whose labels for all apparel and accessories proudly carry the MADE IN USA tag. After receiving global recognition at Russian Fashion Week, Wesetly has currently signed an exclusive deal with high quality suit manufacturer Hartz & Co. Wesetly is currently presenting his collection at fashion week in Czech Republic.

Rich in culture, landscape and history, the wild story of Brazil continues to serve as inspiration for the Rosa Cha Spring/Summer 2006 collection. Ruffles and dress shirt-inspired silhouettes present the High Society of Dutch-occupied Brazil in the 1600s; the native dance and music of the Maracatu carnival come to life with beading and macramé; Cangaco flaunts the sleek and chic military style of this 1930s social movement; color blocking and sashes represent the arid Agreste region; and bright floral prints and glittering sequins evoke images of the freedom Brazilian women exude. Naomi Campbell walked the runway and IMPACT 210 snapped a shot of Usher in the front row.
