The philanthropic business woman is offering just above cost prices on her office furniture collections to the battered Gulf Coast businesses.
"I know the challenges of running a small business and the devastation an unexpected set back can cause to the owner," Edison says. "The massive destruction of Katrina has affected this entire nation. OFI stepped up to help the many storm survivors seeking shelter in Houston. I also want to help the business owners of the Gulf Coast in their efforts to get back to work!"
Edison is known for her many philanthropic efforts with charities such as Houstons Avondale House, a school and living facility for children and young adults with autism, and most recently the food and clothing drive efforts for Katrina survivors in Houston.
"We all need a helping hand at some point in life," Edison adds. "Im happy to do my part for our neighbors in need."
