Vanson Leathers New Cobra 2 Leather Motorcycle Jackets Feature New Patented Ventilation and Armor Capability that Improve the Comfort and Safety of Motorcycle Riders

The new Vanson Leathers Cobra 2 leather motorcycle jacket has features that improve the comfort and safety of motorcycle riders including a patented wind-curtain that allows for complete control of airflow through the jacket, a RAM Air Sleeve Vent that channels air up the arm to the torso while maintaining sleeve circumference for safety, and a Floating Armor System that allows the armor to float for rider comfort while remaining stationary in the event of a crash.

Fall River, MA (PRWEB) September 15, 2005 -- Vanson leathers has been an innovator in the motorcycle apparel field for over thirty years holding multiple patents that contribute to the comfort and safety of motorcycle riders. The new Vanson Leathers Cobra 2 (COB2) leather motorcycle jacket continues that tradition with new innovations in comfort and safety.

  • The patented wind-curtain on the Cobra 2 leather jacket allows for complete control of airflow through the perforated front. When the wind-curtain is wide open it allows for full air flow. With the wind-curtain closed it stops airflow completely. The rider has complete control over the amount of airflow, allowing cooling air to flow inside the jacket for summer riding, for example, or reduced air flow for cooler days and early morning rides.

*The patented RAM Air Sleeve Vent, located inside the curve of the elbow, channels air up the arm of the jacket to the torso while maintaining sleeve circumference for safety even when the vent is wide open.

  • The patented Floating Armor System (FAS) inside the Cobra jacket allows the armor to float for rider comfort while remaining stationary in the event of a crash.

All of these features combined with Vanson leathers exclusive competition weight cowhide leather contribute to make Vansons Cobra 2 leather motorcycle jacket the new benchmark in safety and comfort.

About Vanson Leathers:
Vanson Leathers is Americas largest manufacturer of leather motorcycle jackets and motorcycle riding apparel for men and women. In business for thirty years in Massachusetts, USA, Vanson has consistently innovated and evolved its product line to exceed the expectations of motorcycle riders worldwide. Motorcycle leather has evolved quickly over the last thirty years and Vanson Leathers has led the way. From motorcycle racing suits with no armor or ventilation that were the standard among all brands for competition as recently as the seventies to the current men's and women's motorcycle riding gear that can protect the rider during crashes at speeds that those seventies bikes could not achieve, Vanson Leather's progress through innovation can be charted by their many patents throughout the company's history.
