Has A New Revolution in Online Poker Just Started?

A new online poker website has been launched and it vows to change the social responsibility of big business. Revolutionary Poker.com is vowing to pledge an incredible 25% of each quarter's net poker commission to a world charity.

(PRWEB) September 17, 2005 -- Revolutionary Poker.com, which was launched in September 2005, has taken a new approach to conducting online business. In fact it has taken a new approach to conducting business in general. Many companies seem to donate or raise money for charities only in the aftermath of a catastrophe. However, many times this helps those charities only to rebuild and recover rather than to react. Many of the charities are under funded and unable to respond in a proper fashion. By appropriating a set amount of money to be donated to charities on a regular basis, Revolutionary is taking a proactive approach in hopes that these charities will have the immediate resources to react or even prevent future harm. Revolutionary has also dedicated itself to seeking out those overlooked charities that really need financial help.

Revolutionary Poker offers their customers a unique experience by implementing and using innovative ideas. One thing that separates Revolutionary from the rest of the hundreds of online poker rooms is that they use ‘no download software which is both PC and MAC compatible. There have been recent concerns regarding using the download software of online poker rooms and whether they install spyware onto your computer. Revolutionary offers an alternative where downloading a program is never needed to play online. This allows their users to play anywhere and at any time without the hassle of downloading.

While many might not see any correlation between online poker and charities, Revolutionary feels that the "revolution" that they are leading is in challenging big business to become dedicated to social responsibility by making a firm commitment of their pocketbooks. On Revolutionarys website, they ask you to "Join the Revolution..." Let's hope this is a revolution that succeeds because everyone will benefit.
