James M. Mackey is a partner with the firm of Walter & Haverfield LLP. His practice areas include general business/corporate law, estate, tax and succession planning, and real estate. Mr. Mackey received his B.A. degree from JohnCarroll University and his J.D. degree from Cleveland State University. He was the assistant director of law for the city of Cleveland and was admitted to the Ohio and Pennsylvania Bars. Mr. Mackey is a member of the Estate Planning, Probate and Trust Law Section; Cuyahoga County; the Real Property, Probate and Trust Law Section; and the Ohio State and American Bar Associations.

Gary A. Zwick, Esq., CPA is a partner, head of the Tax and Wealth Management Section, and member of the Administrative Committee of the law firm of Walter & Haverfield LLP. Mr. Zwick is the principal author of the legal treatise Tax and Financial Planning for the Closely Held Family Business published by ALI-ABA and is co-author of the book Transferring Interests in the Closely Held Family Business, also published by ALI-ABA. He is an adjunct professor of wealth transfer taxation at the Case Western University School of Law LL.M. Taxation program and an adjunct professor of tax law at Cleveland Marshall College of Law.
