Not Your Average Bargain Basement

In these times of on-line auctions, ‘buy it cheap, and poor quality, it is refreshing to find an on-line store that offers original, high quality items.

Milltown, NJ (PRWEB) September 21, 2005 -- With the help of several photographers, Decembers Rose, LLC creates some of the most beautiful note cards, prints and posters available on the web today.

Offering more than 300 original images, both traditional and watercolor, Decembers Rose reaches out to the most discerning buyers – those who can appreciate a good quality item – even if it is not available at ‘bargain basement pricing.

We strive to bring our customers an item that they will be proud to have in their home for years," says owner and photographer Barbara Lesselbaum. Ive been producing note cards for over 15 years. When we took the company on-line in 2003, we offered a Gallery Hosting plan, which allowed us to expand our portfolio of original images. Over time, we added prints and posters to the product line. We are currently negotiating with another vendor who will help to integrate framing into the site – customers will be able to interactively choose their own mats and frames to compliment their original artwork."

One of the artists associated with this project has traveled extensively throughout Europe. She has combined her love of photography and watercolor painting to produce digitally altered images with the look and feel of fine art watercolors.

The rest of the images available on the website span the spectrum from flowers to landscapes to animals and everything else in between.

I always hated the traditional cards with sappy sentiments offered in most shops", Barbara adds, Thats what started this venture in the first place. My inspiration came from a beautiful Siberian Husky named Lesea in 1982. At 15 weeks old, she proved to be the best model one could hope for. The first card I developed was one with her image as a puppy with the saying ‘The Innocence of Youth… on the front. The inside of the card was blank – and still is. I believe cards make a personal statement – therefore I let the images inspire the customer to use their own words."

The company also offers seasonal note cards spanning Halloween, Thanksgiving, Hanukkah and Christmas. They are available with either traditional sentiments (not too sappy) or the customer can request use of their own sentiments for a small fee.

Both retail and re-seller pricing is available.

Through on-line advertising, a catalog printed once a year and a newsletter, Decembers Rose spreads its message. Their website is updated constantly with new images and design elements to make browsing or shopping a pleasant experience. They can be found on the web at http://www.decembersrose.com.
