The world's first Online Billboard has been established by Mike Sin, an ex-Silicon Valley web developer. He is selling ad spaces in groups of 100 pixels to people who want to advertise their messages or logos on his online billboard.

(PRWEB) September 26 -- After years of commuting and looking at billboard ads scattered along Highway 101 in the Silicon Valley, a Fresno, California man launched the world's first real online billboard on the information superhighway. And he is selling ad spaces on it in pixels.

Mike Sin, an ex-Silicon Valley web developer, is selling ad spaces in groups of 100 pixels to people who want to advertise their messages or logos on his 101 billboard online. Advertisers can make their images clickable and link to whatever web pages they choose.

"Besides getting traffic from billboard visitors clicking on their images, it's a good way to get one-way incoming links to their web sites to build up their link popularity," says Sin. "They can buy as little or as many pixels in groups of 100 as they want, but not individual pixels as they are too small to be seen or to click on. Current price of pixels is $1 each, and there are 360,000 pixels available."

Sin wants to use the ad revenues generated from his online billboard toward relocating back to the Silicon Valley, where he wants to start another online business.

"If my online billboard is filled," says Sin, "I want to put up a physical version of it along side Highway 101 in the Silicon Valley."

People who would like to "buy pixels" can go to Sin's web site at www.101billboard.com for more information.
