Dancing With The Stars' Louis van Amstel Performs Live at Pacific DanceSport Ballroom Dance Competition

Pacific DanceSport Championships, the annual ballroom dance event scheduled November 4-6, 2005, welcomes "Dancing with the Stars" professional competitor Louis van Amstel for a live performance. The event includes three glamorous-filled days and nights of dancing and competition at the Hilton Los Angeles Universal City hotel.

LOS ANGELES, CA (PRWEB) September 28, 2005 -- Pacific DanceSport Championships, the annual ballroom dance event scheduled November 4-6, 2005, welcomes "Dancing with the Stars" professional competitor Louis van Amstel for a live performance. The event includes three glamorous-filled days and nights of dancing and competition at the Hilton Los Angeles Universal City hotel.
   
Van Amstel and his professional partner Julie Fryer, European Grand Slam and Latin Champions and World Professional Showdance Champions, will showcase their dance expertise in a glittering new professional show on Saturday, November 5th. While competing on the hit ABC television series, van Amstel was paired with celebrity partner Trista Sutter, reality star of "The Bachelor" and "The Bachelorette."
   
In addition to the professional performance, the competition features competitors of every level—from beginning students to polished amateurs to seasoned professionals. The daytime competitions feature solo exhibitions and Pro/Am competitions. Evening festivities begin with an optional formal dinner followed by Amateur, Collegiate and Professional competitions. Pacific DanceSport Championships has attracted participants nationally and internationally for over ten years. This year the event organizers will be paying out nearly $150,000 in prize money, which is the largest purse ever offered by the event.
   
Daytime tickets are available for $15 and $20. Evening tickets without dinner may be purchased for $30 and $35 for Friday and Sunday, and $40 and $45 for Saturday. Youth tickets are available at half price. Dinner tickets cost $50 for each of the scheduled evenings.
