Los Angeles, CA (PRWEB) September 8, 2005 -- EarnWeb, LLC announced today that it has finalized an agreement to buy all of the assets of Global Daily Pay, Inc, a privately-held company.
The assets purchased are primarily the URL of Global Daily Pay (http://www.GlobalDailyPay.com), its software, database and product line. EarnWeb will not assume any of Global Daily Pay's debt.
This acquisition will give customers greater opportunity to benefit from our product line," stated Richard M. Krawczyk, Ph.D., founder of Global Daily Pay. Dr. Krawczyk has agreed to temporarily stay on as a consultant with EarnWeb to help ease the transition.
Global Daily Pay was once one of the fastest growing direct marketing companies in history before its temporary shutdown. In August 2003, the Wisconsin Department of Justice temporarily shutdown the Global Daily Pay website, alleging that the company was engaged in an illegal lottery. Wisconsin later dropped all charges against the company and it was allowed to re-open.
EarnWeb (http://www.EarnWeb.com) offers Internet marketing educational tools as downloadable products. The company's new website will launch on Sept. 15, 2005.
