Austin, TX (PRWEB) January 16, 2006 -- Hundreds of thousands of evacuees in the aftermath of Hurricanes Katrina and Rita are rebuilding their lives in new parts of the country or are returning to their home areas. Many of these evacuees have expressed intent to rebuild their lives in their new communities or upon returning to the Gulf Coast are having trouble finding employment. The Beyond the Box Institute announced today, The Hurricane Economic Recovery Project (HEERP), offering among other things, one on one assistance to evacuees with a desire to start their own small or home business, free of charge.

Through HEERP, Gulf Coast Evacuees have access to Beyond the Box Institute Services free of charge, including:

  • One-on-one assistance with our Idea - Plan - Launch – Profit - Mentoring Program (IPLP) http://beyondtheboxinstitute.com/ideamentors.htm.
  • Tele-Clinics with small business, home business, and marketing experts from around the country.
  • Mastermind Groups - Peer to Peer interaction to help every member of the group achieve the success he or she wants for his or her business

The difficulties of Gulf Coast evacuees finding employment presents an outstanding opportunity many may not have considered. With new technologies, the Internet and a variety of partnering opportunities now readily available, starting a micro small business or home based business is more assessable and less expensive than ever,” said Michael Donahue, Co-Founder of The Beyond the Box Institute.

The Beyond the Box Institute believes micro enterprise, a small business or home business where the owner is the only employee, responsible for all aspects of running their business, is a growing economic force in the United States and provides evacuees the single greatest vehicle to achieve financial stability. “With assistance, these Future and Displaced Entrepreneurs can rebuild not only their lives and make a living for their families with a new small business or homes based businesses, but contribute to the economy and their communities as well,” noted Donahue.

The Beyond The Box Institute (http://beyondtheboxinstitute.com) explores innovative small business and home business ideas from around the world that are ready to be tweaked, borrowed or copied by inspired entrepreneurs. The Institute also provides the tools, resources, and information necessary to make business ideas successful.
