Average Joe Takes On The World’s Internet Giant

From southern Malaysia to the world, one man launches Cybersist.com, a revolutionary Personal Information Management system.

Selangor, Malaysia (PRWEB) January 17, 2006 -- Raymond Tey, raised in a small village in southern Malaysia, is ready to challenge the world's internet giant today by beta launching a revolutionary Personal Information Management (PIM) web application with blogging and photo sharing features.

The website, Cybersist.com, provides free webmail, address books, calendar dates, personal memos, file storage and many other services. "I believe an average internet user today uses too many different type of websites for each of their needs,” says Raymond Tey, creator of Cybersist.com. “It’s a common thing that a blogger blogs through one site, shares pictures through another site and uses a third website to read their email. Cybersist.com replaces all that. With just one account, users can post blogs, share photos, read email, manage contact lists and even participate in a community forum. After all, Cybersist was made by a user for users."

Most of the features in Cybersist.com are customizable. Currently, the site has four templates from which to choose. Cybersist.com provides many applications for bloggers, technical writers, professional photographers and businesses in organizing contacts, schedules, email, files as well as personal logs. Cybersist.com also supports RSS, Google Earth Placemarks and Google AdSense.

About Cybersist.com:
“The history of Cybersist.com goes back a long way. It was intended to be just a personal portal to organize files, photos and other information. The original version even had a personal budgeting system and a MP3 play list center. Soon I realized that the public can benefit from this service and through time it was modified to become a website for the world,” said Raymond Tey.

Cybersist.com is continually being worked on. The Cybersist.com template SDK will be available for the public soon, so enthusiasts can create their own templates. And, a long list of additional features is waiting to be implemented. "2006 will be a fantastic year as I plan to incorporate AJAX techniques to the website. The journey is still long and I need the support from our users so that I can continue to focus on their needs. After all, I can not take on the world alone without the world supporting me."
