TLC celebrity designer launches new store concept, January 19, 2006 in a star-studded grand opening celebration of the urban loft lifestyle.
Fort Lauderdale, FL (PRWEB) January 19, 2006 -- Nani Vinken of Nani Vinken Design and Giovanni Rossi of Sky Fine Arts are proud to announce the grand opening of their newest artistic venture, District Four35 located in the heart of downtown Fort Lauderdale. The grand opening “Happening“ will be taking place on site at 435 North Andrews Avenue from 6 p.m. EST to 9 p.m. EST. Visitors will be dazzled by celebrity DJs, plenty of food and libations and especially the site’s two loft spaces, newly designed by Vinken to showcase her forward-thinking design and cultural concepts.
District Four35 is a space which redefines the way we live through art and design. District Four35 is not a gallery, nor a studio, it is an ever changing window of cultural awareness and future visions. “It” is a place of happenings where people of all cultures, classes and tastes converge in Vinken’s constantly evolving loft space to stimulate their senses while they are introduced to a panorama of classic modern minimal art and design.
“Art and Design speak an international language which brings all cultures together,” states Nani Vinken, Founder and Co-Proprietor of District Four35. “What I am creating reflects this melding. By choosing a space in the revitalization area of the Flagler Arts and Technology District, we are joining the city in creating a new neighborhood, emphasizing art, design, culture and loft lifestyle.”
Celebrity designer Nani Vinken is the star of TLC's hit show "In a Fix," as well as an award-winning DJ, yacht designer, residential designer and visionary. Nani came to "In a Fix" via Switzerland with Bachelor of Fine Arts in Design from Art Center College of Design and her Masters from Webster University Geneva. Working on renowned projects in Europe, Asia, and the Middle East, in the U.S., she dove into a career in boat and yacht design.
After working as an industrial designer for Seadoo/Sportboat, she moved to Fort Lauderdale, Florida to take on the mother of all boat designs super yachts, which range from 70 to 150 feet in length. Unlike the "In a Fix" schedule, super yachts can take up to two years to complete. From there, Nani naturally expanded her services into the high-end residential design arena. Her clients include pro athletes, celebrities and royalty from all over the world.
