MetroModeler is a Windows program centered around 2 very powerful utilities: a Random Building Generator and a Random City Generator. The Random Building Generator allows you to automatically generate a vast variety of architectural 3D models, ranging in complexity from simple houses to very intricate skyscrapers. Running this utility in batch mode, you can create more than 1000 high-quality 3D models while you are away from your computer. The Random City Generator allows you to generate entire 3D cities, using the 3D building models you created with the Random Building Generator.
Version 1.5 of MetroModeler adds a new City Layout tool that allows you to pick a general layout for the 3D city that MetroModeler will generate. You can choose from more than 15 layouts, or easily create a new layout.
For example, if you want to create a 3D scene showing a city which contains 2 intersecting rivers which are spanned by 6 bridges, you can easily do so.
Version 1.5 also adds many new texture maps or materials, and includes new functionality for creating futuristic-looking buildings.
