Announcing the launch of the website RSSsuite.com. RSS Suite provides a portal for users, publishers and web masters to create, read and distribute their RSS feeds.

Edmonton, AB (PRWEB) January 27, 2006 -- ToolButton Inc., a developer of Web 2.0 software, announces the launch of the website RSS Suite.com. RSS Suite provides a portal for users, publishers and web masters to create, read and distribute their RSS feeds. The websites include:

  • RSS Suite.com
  • WebFeedReader.com
  • Send2RSS.com
  • Submit2RSS.com
  • NewslettersByRSS.com

RSS is an alternative channel for delivering content to Internet users. It is one of the underpinnings of blogging and the “new” Internet referred to as Web 2.0. Interest in RSS has skyrocketed lately, largely because users can be notified of news and late-breaking events without having to use a browser. Microsoft Chairman Bill Gates called blogging and the RSS Web content syndication service a "very interesting phenomenon." He suggested that by using RSS as a notification system, customers can "get the information [they want when [they want it."

RSS Suite.com is a portal site that enables users to find their way to the other four websites.

“Each of the websites is directed at a different segment of the RSS landscape,” says Dale Janssen, Chief Idea Creator of ToolButton Inc. “No matter where the substantive RSS growth occurs, one of our RSS Suite products is there to take advantage of it.”

WebFeedReader.com is a browser-based RSS/ATOM reader allowing users to view any feed they have subscribed to without installing a new program or hardware. Using WebFeedReader, Webmasters can easily show their feed content with a single click of the mouse.

Send2RSS.com is directed at Internet users who wish to eliminate email clutter by having non-personal email converted to an RSS feed. Any RSS reader can then read the contents.

Submit2RSS.com is a service directed at existing RSS/ATOM/Blog feed publishers who want to submit their feed to a large number of feed search engines and directories. A Wizard ensures proper information is submitted to the proper sites.

NewslettersByRSS.com recognizes many emailed newsletters and ezines are filtered out long before they reach the in-boxes of their subscribers. Corporate and ISP policies have made it very difficult for readers to get the newsletter content they want. The NewslettersByRSS service allows publishers to generate an RSS feed of their published content without any changes in hardware, software or publishing practices, thereby providing a distribution channel their readers can access directly.

The RSS Suite collection of websites provides companies instant entry into the world of RSS feeds. Many of the early adopters of RSS are reaping the rewards now. NYTimes.com announced their feed page views increased 342% year over year. The BBC has even set up a dedicated website to provide a single access point for the vast array of feeds they publish. Soon, any company who has not begun to use and promote feeds will be left behind in the race for user attention on the Internet.
