Turtle Beach announces “Roadie,” the latest addition to its Audio Advantage Series of USB audio adapters designed for PC users who are serious about portable, high quality audio. Roadie transforms the built-in sound of the average laptop into a rich audio experience, packing an amazing array of features into a package that literally fits in the palm of your hand. Roadie connects a laptop or desktop PC to a wide variety of audio devices with features including stereo analog and S/PDIF digital inputs and outputs, stereo and 5.1 channel headphone outputs, stereo mic inputs, built-in stereo mics, an optional remote control and a robust suite of audio management/editor software. Digital signal processing provides a stereo 10-band EQ with ambience control for full, dynamic sound, and independent 10 band EQs for each speaker in a surround sound system with adjustable delay for adjusting the surround sound field. A built-in 6-channel headphone amplifier directly drives Turtle Beach’s acclaimed Ear Force surround sound headphones for an immersive surround sound experience without having to set up a surround sound speaker system.
