Omaha, NE (PRWEB) October 10, 2006 -- Medical Solutions, Inc., an Omaha, Nebraska based travel nursing company announced the winners of its first ever Referral Rewards Contest.
1st prize, a $5,000.00 credit with Cruise Planners Travel Agency, was won by Dawn, an Allied Health Professional from Alabama who opted to take a comparable cash prize. Sheila, an RN from Idaho came in 2nd place and won $1,000.00, and James, an Allied Health Professional from North Carolina came in 3rd place and won an iPod nano.
The contest rewarded the travel nurses and allied health professionals who referred the most healthcare professionals to Medical Solutions between June 1, 2006 and September 30, 2006. "It is not uncommon for companies like ours to provide referral bonuses and we've been doing it for many years, The fact is, most of our travelers are referrals and this was another way we were able to go beyond and reward those individuals who trust us enough to refer our company," said Jeff Long, Marketing Specialist, Medical Solutions.
The winners recommended Medical Solutions to their colleagues for a variety of reasons, but they all relate back to Medical Solutions' focus on building relationships with their travel nurses and allied health professionals. Dawn who has been traveling for six years said her recruiter is what impresses her most about Medical Solutions and he is the reason she referred her colleagues to them, "He knows what I do and is easy to work with," she said.
Sheila said that in addition to her confidence in Medical Solutions and the good work they do for nurses, a great relationship with her recruiter was also one of the main reasons she referred her friends to Medical Solutions. "I have a good recruiter, he always gets me good jobs and he's honest," she said.
James who himself has not had a chance to work with Medical Solutions said the good things he heard about the company from a co-worker who referred him to Medical Solutions and its user friendly web site were what led him to recommend them to his colleagues.
Medical Solutions held the contest to reward the travel nurses who work with them and to help address an increasing nationwide nursing shortage.
